ConnX Minecraft Missions (Term 3 Program)

ConnX Minecraft Missions is a creative, connection-focused group for neurodivergent kids who love gaming and world-building. Using the shared language of Minecraft, participants work together on exciting in-game projects that support communication, flexible thinking, and co-regulation — all while doing something they genuinely enjoy.
Facilitated by experienced practitioners Bronte Fraser, Aleksandra Stojoska, alongside Minecraft mentor Sarah Carta, and gaming expert Veronica Senior, each session is paced to support autonomy, social safety, and individual communication styles. There’s no pressure to talk or perform — just an invitation to connect through collaboration, creativity and shared play.

Communicating in diverse ways — chat, visuals or in-game tools
Navigating group dynamics with support and autonomy
Developing self-advocacy and confidence in a neuroaffirming environment
Parents receive written and verbal feedback after each session.

A creative, story-driven gaming group for neurodivergent teens who love fantasy, roleplay and strategy. Using Baldur’s Gate 3, participants build teamwork, communication, and emotional regulation in an immersive, strengths-based environment.
Facilitated by gaming expert Veronica and Gameplan Practitioners Celia and Lois, this group invites players to step into their characters, solve problems together all while building connection and confidence. Whether you're leading a quest, casting spells, or choosing when to rest, there's space for every player to shine.

ConnX Creative (Term 3 Program)
ConnX Wednesdays - Term 3 2025: 4.30pm - 5.30pm (60min)
ConnX Creative Wednesdays is a calm, interest-led group for early to middle secondary neurodivergent teens who enjoy arts, crafts, and cooking. Facilitated by experienced clinicians and neurodivergent mentors, sessions are co-designed with participants and focus on creative expression, authentic connection, and self-advocacy — without pressure to mask or perform. We take a trauma-informed approach that honours autonomy, reduces social demand, and provides families with gentle feedback after each session.
This Group supports:
Building authentic, self-paced connections through shared creative interests
Expressing opinions, preferences and needs in supported and respectful ways
Advocating for personal boundaries, consent and autonomy
Exploring neurodivergent and gender identity in a strengths-affirming space
Co-regulating emotions and recognising internal cues (interoception)
Engaging in flexible, collaborative activities without pressure to conform
Communicating using a range of styles — including non-verbal, visual or AAC
Parents receive written and verbal feedback after each session.

PRE-PROGRAM ASSESSMENT
Children joining us at Gameplan for the first time may require a pre-program assessment. Gameplan’s assessment fees apply.

TIME
60 minutes intervention with individual feedback emailed after each session. Sessions delivered in-person at Gameplan. Please ensure your child arrives at Gameplan no later than 4.25pm prior to their session and collect at 5.30pm.
