Celia Schild

Speech-Language Pathologist

Celia is a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist, graduating with a Master of Speech Pathology from the University of Melbourne. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Melbourne, providing her with valuable insight and resources to work within the education setting.

During her degree, Celia had clinical experience working with clients across the lifespan, within both private practice and school settings, and across a range of complex diagnoses. She has worked with clients both independently and in groups, including small groups and classrooms.

Prior to Gameplan, Celia worked as a private tutor, supporting the academic and social goals of primary and secondary school students. This included working collaboratively with the client and teachers, allied health workers, families and educators to provide a team-based approach to intervention.

Celia also has experience volunteering with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, which is a particular area of interest. This has included supporting people in learning English as an additional language and developing their digital literacy skills.

Celia is a certified Sounds Write trained practitioner and has completed the Basic Key Word Sign Workshop with Key Word Sign Australia.

Celia's favourite part of her job is being able to impart her passion for learning to students, especially in literacy, and help clients reach their goals.
