Freya Zaknich


Speech-Language Pathologist

Freya is a speech-language pathologist who graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from Flinders University in 2012. Freya has recently moved to Melbourne and has experience working with children and their families, adolescents and young adults within private practice settings in South Australia.

Freya has worked with a wide range of clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Language Disorder and Specific Learning Disorders to support their development of spoken, written and social communication skills.

She enjoys both academic and creative writing and brings her own insight and enthusiasm into her work with students with literacy and higher-level language learning challenges.

Above all Freya loves learning from her clients, sharing their interests and building a strong relationship to achieve their personal goals.

Freya has experience in reviewing therapy progress and functional skills in order to support individuals accessing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

In 2016 Freya was recognised by The Autism Association of South Australia (Autism SA) as able to provide diagnostic services for children, adolescents and adults suspected of having an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
